This was found on ancient documents that were written from about 1100 b.c.e. In the levant.
It tells humanity not to worry when you feel stuck and in-blessed compared to wicked or foolish people.
Instead of worrying about that kind of stuff, do this:
- Trust in the Lord & you’ll prosper.
- Take delight in the Lord and He’ll give you you’re hearts desire.
- Commit everything you do to the Lord & Trust Him fully, and he will give you you’re hearts desire.
This is all predicated on taking your confidence that God exists, and that he rewards those who obey Him, and telling Him what you need through conversation.
Actually count how often you pray! If I were honest, my sinful self can sit and watch hours of Netflix shows without even trying, but it’s hard for me to pray 5 minutes a day consistently.
Ask Him and He will respond!
“Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither.
Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.
Commit everything you do to the Lord.
Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.”
